I had no idea there were so many types of bats! All very informative. You can walk through a bat house at Shepreth Wildlife park (near Cambridge). You have to be quite brave because the bats fly very fast and swoop down, often narrowly missing the visitors!
I also learnt something about pipistrelle bats – they weigh about the same as 11 paperclips! Does anyone else know any facts about bats?
